Fernando Torres signs for Liverpool

There he is, our new number 9. I never even thought this was possible. One of the finest young marksmen in the world, captain and legend in Atletico Madrid at only 23, and FM goal machine, signing for Liverpool FC. I hope he is the quality striker we need to bring the team forward a couple of notches.

Of course, there are some reservations about his ability. Some say he is overrated. Some say he is not neither a proven goalscorer nor a natural finisher. Some doubt his ability to settle in English lifestyle and football. But 26.5 million pounds for a striker of his caliber is a good deal in my books, considering how much ManUtd & Chelsea spent on their transfers in recent seasons.

Now, like Rafa said, all we need are a couple of wingers..
